The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and/or known as Orange Shirt Day is coming up on September 30th. This is a day where we all come together and remember the lost children and our survivors of Residential Schools here in Canada. This day was created as an opportunity to discuss the effects of residential schools and their legacy. It honours the experiences of Indigenous Peoples, celebrates resilience and affirms a commitment that every child matters. Tshirts are available in toddler, kids, youth and adult while supplies last. All funds made above and beyond the cost of materials will be donated directly to a local organization-Native Child and Family Services of Toronto. They are fully supporting our efforts and will in turn be able to put the funds towards the community.
