Hearing Schedule The Ontario College of Teachers licenses, governs and regulates the province’s teaching profession in the public interest and to protect students. All publicly funded school teachers and administrators in Ontario must be licensed by us and be Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT).

The Ontario College of Teachers will be closed on Monday, August 3 for the Civic Holiday. We will return to our usual business hours on Tuesday, August 4.

An Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification and Registration is your license to teach in Ontario. It shows your degrees, teacher education program, and your Basic and Additional Qualifications.
