Summer in the Son Day Camp

Here's everything you need to know about sponsorship for tomorrow's 5K Move for SITS! Can't wait to see you all there!

SAVE THE DATE! This upcoming Saturday, SITS is running an event called the 5K MOVE FOR SITS! This event will be a chance for members of our church and community to run, walk, jog, or dance to help raise funds for our supplies and for campers in need of subsidy. You can help participate by signing up to be a mover OR by sponsoring one of our staff who will be moving the 5K. We could really use all the help we can get and it'll be greatly appreciate if we can reach our goal of $2000! To inquire, register, or donate, send us a DM or contact [email protected]! Introducing FLASH!

He is this year’s camp director and he’s so grateful for the opportunity. He’s been a working in the camp since 2019 when he first started out as a F.L.I.T.E. and has consistently loved coming back to work at camp every year. This dude is super athletic and can run really fast! When he grows up, he hopes to be a pediatrician and a family doctor so he can help others and care for those in need. He hopes to fellowship with the staff and spend time getting to know the campers! He can’t wait for you to see what him and Bubbles have had planned for the summer!

Introducing BUBBLES!

She has been working at SITS since 2019 and this is her first year as the assistant director! She loves to sing, dance, and create art! She’s also an actor who is passionate about performing. You’re most likely to see her with a camera filming the funny moments or capturing memories. Don’t let her size fool you, though she may be the shortest, she is the oldest staff in the group! She’s so excited for another year of SITS and she hopes the campers will enjoy the program she and Flash have planned.

Introducing ALOE!

This girl is one smart cookie who loves plants and looking at things under her microscope! She can’t wait to make new friends, go on adventures, and grow with Jesus! Her hobbies are exploring the microverse, singing, long distance/track running, reading, eating good food, and more! We’re so glad to have her back for her second year working at SITS this summer!

Introducing BUDDY!

This is his second year working at SITS and this super tall dude is awesome at sports like hockey, volleyball, and baseball! But when he’s not on the court, you could also find him reading! He’s looking forward to getting to know any new campers!

Introducing SPARROW!

She’s one cool gal who loves to bake, she‘s passionate about performing, and is obsessed with the colour yellow! If Sparrow were an animal, she would be…a sparrow! Obviously! This is her second year working as a staff and she’s so excited to get to know the campers this summer!

Introducing THUNDER!

He’s a talented fellow who taught himself how to play a lot of instruments and even sing! Thunder is a huge fan of the Harry Potter series! He hopes to pursue computer science, though he would also want to go into music! He is one of our three volunteer counsellors and it’s his first year of SITS! He can’t wait to see you all there!

Introducing FENDER!

He is a volunteer counsellor who is on his second year working at SITS and we’re so glad he can be a part of our team! He’s one cool dude who plays guitar, loves video games, and enjoys sleeping. This summer, he hopes to make a ton of memories and to help ensure that camp becomes a fun and safe experience for both kids and staff alike!

Introducing TANGO!

He is one of our three volunteer counsellors this summer. Tango is a very silly-goofy person who loves to play the piano, enjoys card/board games, and cooking! This summer he’s looking forward to eating outside, spending some time at the beach, and getting a whole lotta sleep. This is his first year working at SITS so please give a warm welcome! We’re grateful to have him on board!

She is one of our four F.L.I.T.Es this year! Jewels is a very talented and artistic person who makes jewelry, loves Bubble tea, and if she could be an animal she would be a frog! This is her second year as part of our staff and we’re happy to have her again this summer!
