The name "PCOS" has long been a misnomer, as it’s not just about cysts on ovaries. It is a complex, multi-system hormonal and metabolic condition. Shifting to PMOS helps incentivize better research, close diagnostic gaps, and ensure patients receive comprehensive care early on. 🌍✨
