I know it’s been a while since my last post.
Life got full with lots of caretaking.
Finally after 4 months l’m coming out the other side.
Am l new, improved after these life experiences?
Or perhaps just a little bit more humble and wiser?!!
After all, l thought maintaining resilience as a coach l had it nailed, right? All the tools, strategies and techniques should have kept my cup full…
Full disclosure…these caretaking times triggered me big time. Two steps back to reflect and take time to heal.
I’ve had to learn to lean into self-compassion and my network of support big time. First and foremost l’m human after all!!

What l learned is change can challenge everything…including asking us to look at our values and our ability to maintain our boundaries around them…and if our values aren’t clear, our boundaries become blurred and we easily over give without filling our resilience.

What l’m learning is this is a practice. What boundaries do you need to practice?

It’s only 1.2% of your time next week!

You could spare that time for yourself… right?

So why not join my Jumpstart your 2023 with Greater Purpose and Passion training?

It’s only TWO DAYS AWAY!

Join me and we can slow down together! Set intentions for a vision you’d like to say “yes” to…release the shoulds and say a “heck yes” to what makes you feel lit up and alive. Check out the link below to register!

…But Lisa!
Most of us are already chasing time for ourselves, isn’t this just adding to the “to dos”? How do the pressures from the pursuit of our intentions for 2023 not overwhelm us?

Heres’s what l have experienced. When we take the time to get clear about what truly matters to us and we align our actions, something shifts inside of us.

A different kind of energy arises that pulls you forward, it feels easier, you feel lighter as you release the shoulds, cause you’re clear about who you are and what makes you feel lit up and alive. You know longer feel like you’re pushing a rock up a hill! You can confidently say “no” to the busy stuff that no longer matters, freeing up space to say “heck” yes to what does! Feel the difference?

I invite you to come join me and find out!

Create an inspiring vision for 2023 that truly matters to you and live with more purpose and passion while taking care of your wellbeing!

I’m not a good writer…

This l believed until my early fifties. This belief was planted in grade 11 English and solidified when l received a C- in an English university course.

As a young person, my value as a writer became wrapped up in English marks that were given by teachers and an university professor. They couldn’t be wrong, right? So, any evidence to the contrary l’d quickly dismiss.

Fast forward to 53 and I’m happy to report l finally answered my soul’s longing. I took a leap and joined a small creative writing circle.

On the first day l proclaimed “l am not a good writer!”. It didn’t matter, for these wise women knew the secret! Writing is something bigger than any mark. It’s a place to share our thoughts, feelings and for some to heal. A year later, I’m proud to say we self-published a book of poems (just for us) and yes mine are in there too!

I am so grateful to these women, now my life long friends, for providing a safe and sacred place to express who l am and to rewrite an old story that did not serve my best interests. Imagine the possibilities if l’d released this story years ago? Oh well, l say better late than never!

Without the benefit of “new” perspective, our beliefs can develop into stories we tell ourselves about ourselves, carried around for life. These stories can stop us in our tracks. They can prevent us from listening to our inner intuition, noticing the nudges pointing to our true desires and dreams, and from becoming our best selves.

What’s a story you need to let go of so you can make space for your soul’s longing? What essence of you is calling, ready to shine?

Take the leap darling, release your story and fly!
