PAID Research Study Seeking Participants with Social Anxiety
Are you anxious in social situations?
Do you avoid social situations?
Do you worry a lot about being negatively perceived or judged by other people?
If so, you may be eligible to participate in a study looking at how social anxiety affects social interactions.
WHO: Individuals at least 17 years of age with social anxiety
WHERE: Anxiety Research and Treatment Lab at Ryerson University (near Yonge and Dundas Streets)
WHAT: Telephone interview to determine your eligibility and two separate lab visits to complete questionnaires and an interview (first visit), and a social interaction task (second visit). Each visit will last about 60 minutes. Eligible individuals will be offered $35 incentive for their participation.

This research study has been reviewed and approved by the Ryerson University Research Ethics Board (REB Code: 2018-177).
