The Quarantine Spotlight:

WORK: The quarantine has definitely affected work for me… all the DJ gigs I had booked and opportunities that I could have had... All ofthe studios that I would freelance out of are closed, so recording sessions have been on hold. Over the past 6 months I’ve been working on my own album with a whole bunch of really dope artists, but I’ve had to put a lot of the roll out ideas on hold too. There hasn’t been much change mentally/emotionally for me, but something that gets me through my days and helps me stay creative, quarantine or not, is Mary Jane.

KEEPING BUSY/ENTERTAINED: Now that I have extra time, I’m able to catch up on work, maybe make a few beats, and even DJ all in the same day. I’ve been watching a lot of Youtube and using Protools, Serato, and FL Studio - 3 programs that I’m constantly using for work and play. Instagram has also become more useful when connecting with people, since I have a lot of friends - and even followers - who now have time to jump into my Live and vibe out without having to leave the house. I’ve been listening to a lot of music like Reggae/Dancehall (new & old), Roddy Rich, Nip, PND, Giveon, D'Angelo, DVSN, and Jay Z. I’ve been watching Suits and The Flash - weird choices, but I don’t actually go crazy about any shows, so different things interest me at different times - and reading "Shoe Dog”, a memoir by Nike Co-Founder, Phil Knight.GRATITUDE: I live in a different city than my parents and ended up going back home when the pandemic began to get more serious. I’m grateful for the extra time I get to spend with my family, not to mention all the home-cooking I've been missing!

On this day we remember a lifelong student, , for his teachings and work in his community. Taken far too soon, the Los Angeles rapper turned activist & entrepreneur always preached about bettering one’s self, ownership, and giving back to the community. Despite his physical absence, his message still lives here on earth. Rest In Power.

is an empowerment coach, motivational speaker, and mother. At a young age she knew she wanted to make a difference but didn’t know how. After years of brainstorming, overthinking, and self doubt Paige realized her personality accompanied by her own experiences as a millennial was enough. The Instagram page "Paige1ofSome" was created in December 2018 - aimed to empower millennials to understand their potential both personally and professionally while navigating through an era of social media, an unrealistic housing market, and challenges like the fear of failure.
Paige's direct approach, relatable topics and call to action from viewers has led her to helping her audience realize they, too, are enough.
