“When a child is given a little leeway, he will at once shout, ’I want to do it!’ But in our schools, which have an environment adapted to children’s needs, they say, ‘Help me to do it alone.’”

Preschool separation anxiety is common, not that that's any comfort when you have a clinger on your hands…or around your neck. Try these tear-taming tips for an easier preschool good-bye each day.

With some patience, your little one will get into the swing of school, and drop-off will become less dramatic. Until then, you can:

Check in with the teacher. Most kids who cry at drop-off turn off the tears right after the preschool good-bye. To make sure that’s the case, ask the teacher over the phone or by e-mail.

Become an early bird. Hungry, tired kids are often clingy, cranky kids — in other words, kids primed for a preschool separation anxiety attack. So start some healthy sleep habits:

Get her busy. Settle her in an activity before you head out the door — or ask her to show you her most recent collage masterpiece or her favorite book. But don’t give your little one the impression that you’ll stay as long as she needs you.

If your child still has a hard time separating from you, try this: Say your good-byes at home and ask your partner (if your preschooler’s not as attached to him!) or a classmate’s parent to drop her off instead.

How to teach children moral values for kids, especially sharing!

Don’t force

Since your attempts failed the first time, you might feel that you should make the child share with force. Don’t

Praise

It doesn’t necessarily have to be your child that you are praising for sharing. If your child’s friend is willing to share something, praise them, too.

Gratitude

If some other child listens to you or their mom and shares their toy with you, ask your child to say thanks.

Montessori Method of teaching for Casa( Ages 2.6 yearsMontessori Method of teaching for Casa( Ages 2.6 years -6years old)

In the Casa level, the children are given activities that are deliberately designed to have them experience abstract theories in concrete form. This is done so that as they move into higher levels of education, the children are well prepared to understand abstract theories found in math and the sciences.

In the Casa program, children engage in the Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Culture (including Science, Geography and History), and Math areas. They are consciously supported by Montessori-trained teachers who direct, guide, and carefully observe the child to be fully aware of his or her development.
