ACMAPS first opened its doors in Central Square in August 2007 and celebrated its launch on November 5, 2007. Since then, we've been busy with student open houses, discussion groups, and research projects related to the needs of mature and part-time students at York. We are committed to being a voice for mature and part-time students and we are excited to be part of York University’s ongoing commitment to accessibility and support for students throughout their university experience. We look forward to welcoming many part-time and mature students, faculty and staff to the Atkinson Centre. A great start to the new academic year! 🎉

On September 2, LA&PS and ACMAPS brought students, staff, and faculty together for our ACMAPS Mixer. It was an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and build community. ❤️

Through meaningful conversations and interactive activities, students reflected on the life experiences, strengths, and challenges that shape their university journeys. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a welcoming and engaging space!

Help new students find their footing by giving referrals, share what’s worked for you, and build your own leadership skills along the way.
