For all your First Year Eng needs To help you adjust, the Faculty of Engineering has developed the First Year Engineering Office (FYEO).

The first year of university is an exciting and challenging and there may be a period of adjustment, both academically and socially. The First Year Engineering Office handles all academic and administrative matters associated with first year of engineering at Ryerson University. We invite you to come and meet the FYEO staff and do not hesitate to ask for our help whenever you have questions, concerns, or comments of any sort. Together, we will help you deal with all your first year related matters. We look forward to meeting all of you!

Study Halls are exam review sessions hosted by the Instructor or TA of the course. Our CHY102 study hall is going to be held virtually on October 6th from 7:00-9:00 PM. There is a limited capacity so make sure to register ASAP. If you can't attend the session but would still like the recordings, you will still need to register using the link in bio.

What’s FYIC?

FYIC is an exclusive, three-day conference hosted by Essco (Engineering Student Societies’ Council of Ontario) and backed by the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE).

Cost: If you are selected to represent TMU, MUES will cover up to 75% of your delegate fee (this includes food, hotel, ticket).

The Engineering ACES tutoring sessions run from September 14th, 2026 to December 20th, 2026 for the Fall 2026 term. They will be held virtually following this schedule:

CHY 102 - Mondays from 8-9 pm
PCS 211 - Tuesdays 7-8 pm
MTH 140 - Wednesdays from 8-9 pm
MTH 141 - Saturdays 10-11 am
There will be one in-person session for all courses weekly on Thursdays from 12-2 pm in KHE 119.
