The Magic of Maple Tapping!
🌳🍁 Ever wondered where maple syrup comes from? We took the kids on a sweet adventure—tapping our very own tree! The excitement on their faces when the first drops of sap started flowing was priceless.

📌 Fun Fact: It takes 40 gallons of sap to make just 1 gallon of syrup! 🍯

Drop a 🍁 in the comments if you love maple syrup as much as we do!

From tree to table! The kids LOVED seeing the whole process of making maple syrup.

Pink Shirt Day, to us, represents a powerful symbol of solidarity and compassion. It’s a reminder that small actions, like wearing a pink shirt or standing up for others, can make a big difference in creating a more inclusive and supportive community. The day highlights the importance of kindness and respect, reminding us to speak out against bullying and foster environments where everyone feels safe and valued. It’s about showing that we all have a role in promoting positivity and helping others feel accepted.

The wonders of winter and snow! ❄️ The snow offers so many new things to see, animal tracks, some from tree to tree others zig-zagging all around and great learning moments about wildlife and their seasonal behaviour.

Stepping outside in the cold can actually have some surprising benefits! It can boost your mood by increasing the production of endorphins. The cold air can improve circulation, build resilience, and strengthen your immune system. Just make sure to bundle up!

We often get asked, "what happens on days it is really cold?" We are fortunate to have wonderful green space at our building and access to amazing indoor facilities. On really cold days we stay close to the building and move more of our learning indoors to give us time to warm up.
