Swipe through this post to find music grants relevant to you ✅

It all boils down to geography 🌍

All Canadians can apply to FEDERAL grants, so long as they meet their other eligibility criteria 🔍

The PROVINCIAL and MUNICIPAL grants are where things differ slightly 🔒

You must be located within a specific province or town/city to qualify for those, among their other eligibility criteria 🔌

Despite that, most music creators have a few options as to where to apply for music grants 🤔

Worst case you always have the big guys like and .council - but best case you have those 2, and several more options to explore based on the province and town/city you’re in 🤑

Like our resident who’s located in Toronto - he has at least 4 options he can explore (and he does!) 🇨🇦

If you need more money to invest into growing your music career, music grants are the answer 🙌🏼

Registration closing TONIGHT at 12AM EST.⠀
⠀
Next time you see this course available, it will be at a HIGHER price.⠀
⠀
I’ve seen a lot of people debating whether its worth trying to pursue on their own….or to invest in a training program like this one.⠀
⠀
Look, I get it.⠀
⠀
I taught myself (almost) everything I know about applying to music grants. It took a lot of time, a lot of trial and error with missteps along the way, and finally a lot of phone calls and meetings with grant organizations to find a better approach. We're talking thousands of hours of blood, sweat and effort.⠀
⠀
And that’s exactly why I built this course- to save you the time, to save you the mistakes, to save you the trial and error.⠀
⠀
So the question is, should you invest in the How To Apply To Canadian Music Grants course?⠀
⠀
If you fit into any of these criteria, the answer is a resounding YES:⠀
⠀
1) You make your own music and want to get paid to create it.⠀
⠀
This is a no brainer. If you make your own music and want to get paid for it, you can tap into music grants to do exactly that.⠀
⠀
You’re making music anyway, and chances are you’re spending money on creating it. Why not get music grants to help you cover the costs of making music, while earning a buck?⠀
⠀
2) You want more money to invest into growing your music career.⠀
⠀
You understand that building a lucrative music career requires money. Whether its to market your music to more people, or create high quality products like songs and videos that are worth paying attention to, these cost money – sometimes lots of it.⠀
⠀
Music grants can provide up to hundreds of thousands of dollars for an artist to use every year. You can INVEST this money into reaching more audiences and setting yourself up to make income from your music in the future.⠀
⠀
3) You want to learn how to apply from an expert so you won’t need to hire an expensive grantwriter all the time.⠀
⠀
You can pay a grantwriter to write a grant for you, but they can’t guarantee they’ll win. They collect their money up-front and if they don’t win, you’ve spent money for nothing. By taking this course, you’ll learn how to apply to grants over and over again for life.

I got into grant writing back in 2016 after attending a workshop downtown.⠀
⠀
Before I went, I'd heard about music grants but never thought someone like me could win one.⠀
⠀
I mean, I was a producer with no music out at the time.⠀
⠀
I even applied to a grant once before but got rejected, and that rejection stuck with me.⠀
⠀
Despite my past experience, I decided to go to this workshop and above all else learned that winning grants WAS possible for EVERYONE, you just needed to know how to write a strong application.⠀
⠀
I left that workshop and immediately got to work, applying to 2 different grant programs almost immediately.⠀
⠀
When I got my results back for the first grant, I was rejected - and I was devastated. "Maybe this isn't for me" I thought once again.⠀
⠀
A few more weeks went by and my 2nd grant results came in. ⠀
⠀
I clicked to open the email notification and sure enough, I won $2,000 from through their Artist Development Program.⠀
⠀
I was stunned - winning free money for my music suddenly became possible.⠀
⠀
Since that day, I applied again and again and again. For myself, for my artists, for my clients - whenever I could.⠀
⠀
I didn't win every grant but I got in the habit of ASKING. As they say - "closed mouths don't get fed"⠀
⠀
As much as I asked, I also LEARNED. ⠀
⠀
I made a point to see where I was going wrong. I spoke with grant organizations. I agonized over little details and support materials and tried to figure out a recipe for a winning grant application. And over the years, I've developed one that has helped me win more money more consistently with less effort.⠀
⠀
If you're a Canadian music creator that isn't applying to music grants - you're sleeping on a massive opportunity.⠀
⠀
Music grants can be used to pay for essential activities including studio time, engineers, producers, songwriters, guest features, video production, artwork design, marketing, touring, performing, travel and much much more. They can even be used to pay yourself to write music.⠀
⠀
If you want to learn how to tap into this funding source for your music career, you should sign up for our How To Apply To Canadian Music Grants course launching tomorrow. @ Toronto, Ontario
