It has been a fun and eventful start to the school year! From learning about Ancient Greece and Forensic Science to drama classes and recess, we have had so much fun so far!

We are now doing 4 weeks of bowling for gym class! It was great to see people try for the first time or learn a new way to bowl! Thanks to Danforth Bowl for having us!

On Friday we resumed our gym activity of rock climbing! We did two sessions in December and we have one more next week before March Break. We are so proud of everyone for participating and trying something new.

Photos of our egg drop challenge!
Yesterday for STEM we did an Egg Drop challenge! Everyone got to use any material they wanted to try and make something that could be dropped out a window and the egg inside wouldn’t break. We had a lot of creative designs and everyone had great fun!
For three weeks our gym class is trampolining. We spend an hour at Just Bounce Trampoline Gym learning tricks and jumps!

We had a great Valentine’s Day party on Monday! We had treats and played Valentine’s Day inspired bingo.

Yesterday the power was out on the whole block, but we still had a great morning, and got the classroom decorated for Valentine’s day!
Reminder that tomorrow is a PD day so school is closed. We hope everyone enjoys their long weekend!

Due to the ongoing weather conditions, we have decided to have another snow day tomorrow (Tuesday January 18). School is cancelled and Esprit will be closed.
