✅ What We Do:

We coach university students to take control of their academics through personalized support that builds executive function skills—like time management, focus, task initiation, planning, and emotional regulation.

✅ Who It’s For:

- First-year students overwhelmed by the transition.

- Upper-year students who are tired of last-minute scrambling.

- Parents who want peace of mind knowing their student has structured support.

✅ How It Works:

✔️ Weekly 1:1 coaching sessions (in person or virtual)

✔️ Custom study planning & accountability check-ins

✔️ Practical tools for self-regulation and motivation

✔️ Ongoing communication with students (and parents if needed)

Here’s the truth:
🎓 University doesn’t come with a manual.
🧠 Executive function isn’t “common sense.”
📚 And study skills aren’t automatically taught.

That’s why we created our Executive Function + Study Skills Program — so students can get the support they *actually* need to succeed.

If you’re tired of feeling behind, overwhelmed, or disorganized… we’ve got you.

University life is exciting—but it can also be overwhelming.

Between academics, social pressures, and new responsibilities, it’s easy to feel stretched thin. That’s why emotional well-being matters.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. Prioritizing your mental and emotional well-being is a strength, not a weakness. The more you take care of yourself, the more resilient, focused, and fulfilled you’ll be—both inside and outside the classroom.

How to Get Started When You Don’t Feel Motivated:

The truth is, action often comes before motivation—not the other way around.

Here’s how to kickstart momentum:

1. Start small. Shrink the task to its simplest form. Just open the document. Just lace up your shoes. The smaller the step, the less resistance.

2. Set a timer. Try the “just 5 minutes” rule. Commit to working for 5 minutes—more often than not, you’ll keep going.

3. Pair it with something pleasant. Listen to music, light a candle, or find a cozy spot. Make the start feel good.

4. Don’t wait to “feel like it.” Act first. Motivation often shows up after you’ve begun.

5. Celebrate the start. Progress isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up.

Starting is success. Motivation follows action.

Study Smarter, Not Harder

Struggling to stay focused or remember what you’ve learned?

Try these quick study tips:

✅ Break study sessions into 25-minute blocks with 5-minute breaks (Pomodoro Technique)

✅ Teach the material to someone else—it helps it stick

✅ Use color-coded notes to organize ideas visually

✅ Prioritize tasks with a simple to-do list

✅ Start with the hardest task first when your brain is freshest

Small changes = big results. 💡

Procrastination Isn’t Laziness—It’s a Signal.

🧠 Your brain might be overwhelmed, unsure, or just avoiding discomfort.

🎯 Break it down. One small, clear step can restart momentum.

🛑 Waiting for motivation? It’s more reliable to build *structure* instead.

You don’t need to feel ready—you just need a starting point.

Struggling to take that first step? DM us.

Time Management Isn’t Just About Schedules—It’s About Priorities.

⏳ When everything feels urgent, nothing gets done.

✅ Start by identifying *what actually matters* today.

📅 Then, block time for it—*before* the distractions take over.

💡 Small shifts in how you plan = big wins in how you feel.

I’m so excited to be offering this intensive Executive Function program to my students and clients!!

Executive Function skills are the set of mental skills that allow us to use our intelligence to help us work towards our goals.

They are the building blocks for completing tasks and achieving our goals, in school and in life.

Executive Function Skills can be delayed as much as 30% for people with ADHD and often need to be explicitly taught.

Send me a DM for more information 😊

This is my favourite quote and it helps me to get ‘unstuck’ every time!

•When I’m overwhelmed with a big project or task, or have a million little things to do and don’t know where to start.

•Getting started can be the hardest part.

•Pick the smallest, least overwhelming thing or your list and just begin!

•Set a timer for a small amount of time and just begin!
😊

My teen and I had a LOT of conversations this weekend about Time Management and I wanted to pass along a method that has been helping my students, clients of all ages and my family.

Without a specific plan for how we spend and use our time, many people feel frustrated by how little has been accomplished at the end of the day.

This becomes more stressful as our kids get older and their workload increases.

If Time Management is a challenge for your kids or your family, give the Pomodoro Method a try!

Based on the Italian word for Tomato 🍅, the method uses a timer (think of the old school tomato timers!) to be intentional about how to plan and schedule homework time.

As a former procrastinator, I love this tool and hope it helps your kids and family too!
