Well, it has a name now.

For a while (years), I've been going through some sh*t(s): sometimes in succession, often simultaneously. And I haven't been doing well - at all. Increasingly less well, tbh.

Finally got a diagnosis. Extreme Autistic Burnout.

So YAY. Now - the moving through/past it part.
Wish me luck, amigos!

The good news? I'll share what I learn - I'm (and YOU AREN'T!) alone in this!

This month’s mascot is The Ram of Ruthlessness who wants us to take action towards our dreams!

I'm working on a couple right now - which of YOUR dreams are you going to water this month?

Some great resources!

'Nuff said. I'm going to do at least one of these in 2026.

How about you? Which look appealing? Want to join me?

WHOA.

This is a lot. I think I'll do a question for myself every two days, so I don't get overwhelmed and just quietly quit!

This is a big one, for a few reasons.

People that have come from scarcity tend to hold on to things. Things that no longer serve, if ever they did. Things that might be (MIGHT BE) needed. Things that were expensive, that had meaning, that were hard to find, that looked good when I had a 27 inch waist, that I thought I'd love or that'd change me somehow for the better. Things.

Wow, that got personal. I was all 'third-person'ing and then my subconscious got on in there! But you see what I mean.

Decluttering is HARD, I know. But it's crucial to growth to move forward unencumbered. Start where you can - if you're feeling plucky, do a room! If you're feeling unsure, start with a drawer. You'll need four boxes - Keep, Donate, Give to a Specific Person, and Garbage. Examine each item individually and ask yourself "If this got p**p on it, would I keep it?" and go from there.

The good news is that it does get easier, and it honestly is liberating. You can feel the weight shift off of you, and that's a real sign that you're ready to move.

And if you're really finding it challenging or impossible? A therapist can assist in understanding and reframing, and a professional de-clutterer (they exist and are amazing!) can help with the physical.

Don't give up. Future You is worth it. CURRENT YOU is worth it.

This. Is. Important.

I kind of hate it when pages do that period spacing thing, but here we go - I succumbed! Because I don't want you to zip past this.

If you don't know what you want, you'll never be satisfied

If you don't know what you want, you'll always be distracted by sparkly things

If you don't know what you want, you can't get it!

If you don't know what you want, you'll fill your life with things that have little-to-no-value

If you don't know what you want, you'll be surviving and not thriving

What is non-negotiable for you at this moment in time, this moment of your life?

Pro Tip: Keep your brain in the realm of the positive - write what you WANT and don't focus on what you DON'T WANT. The weeding of your garden can come later, this is the blue sky stage of glorious "I WANT".

ProPro Tip: Many of us have been raised to avoid I Want statements and thoughts, but friends - go for it. Become who you needed as a kid and make space for yourself.

Hey friends!
Here's a tough one. Detach from the past.

We're bad at this. Like, really bad. Forgive but don't forget, grudges, self-recrimination, saboteur voices, shame, guilt - this list could take hours...

Read through the three suggestions below - what do they have in common?

They're about YOU. Not other people - just you! And that's the focus here, isn't it. You want to move into a life where you are the conscious focus, where you are the main character, where you aren't carrying the weight of all of those things (the massive list above) that no longer serve you. That's where your power lives.

And of course, sometimes they'll come creeping back in asking/demanding space at your table. When they do, just recognize them and shoo them back out. They don't get to occupy space in your new life. You're making room for the GOOD S**T.

OK, I really enjoyed your responses to How to Restart Life Again - thank you for sharing them!

You may have gathered that there's no one way to do it. Different strokes for different folks, as they say. Having said that I'm going to do a coaching thing and shift perspective a little. There's no one way, but there ARE some 'better' ways!

For many people, stuckitude happens when we're ignoring something. Plenty of reasons why we might, like seriously TONS of em. Often it's an internal saboteur or two trying to protect us from something by preventing us from doing anything at all.

Here's the dealio: one can't move forward unless one acknowledges and accepts where we are. People hate this - I get pushback from clients all the time on this! "Why spend time poking this? This is uncomfortable. Why dwell on the negative?"

Don't weight what you're acknowledging. It's not bad, it's not good - it just is. It's where you are in this moment. From there, you can really start to build a plan to get OUT of this moment and into a different one, a designed one. A CONSCIOUS one.

That's where the power is.

What else will benefit you as you're rebooting 'You'ness?

Friends - after a few years of whatevs, I've decided to rejoin the fray! I've missed and missed out on many things - social, professional, you name it. I'm excited about stepping back in the world, but there's some paralysis and even dread present.

So. Where does one start?

If there's one thing that I love as a coach and lifelong learner - it's a good question! So let's ponder this for a little bit. How does one restart life again?

Any thoughts? I'll be back to share my ideas, please feel free to jump in and join with yours at any time!

WOWZERS! I was gone for longer than I intended, that's for sure!

But it was (mostly) good time away, and (mostly!) needed time away. Much was accomplished, some things created, others fell by the wayside, births, deaths, healththings, shenanigans, dating - you name it! I hope that the time on YOUR end was spent with you being happy and healthy.

So, starting tomorrow I'll be posting on a regular schedule again - things that have crossed my radar or given me pause for thought. This page is all about growth - personal AND professional, so you can expect a mix of both. And some humour. Can't leave that out!

I've got a couple of spots opening shortly and am accepting new clients! If you've been stuck, blocked, or at an impasse - drop me a line and let's get you moving again
