On March 20th, Professor Newman will be hosting Professor V.S. Raja from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Professor Raja will hold a technical talk discussing stress corrosion cracking in magnesium and aluminum alloys at 11 am in the Wallberg Building, Room 215.

Professor Raja will also be available all day to speak with those who are interested in meeting them.

On Saturday, November 12th, the ECS will be holding a conference for the Canadian Section of the Electrochemical Society at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT). Invited speakers include MSE’s very own Professor Keryn Lian.

Online registration for the conferences ends November 10th. Registration fee is $50 for students.
