What are the perspectives of university students in Canada on infant feeding practices?
Although the knowledge and attitudes regarding infant feeding has been studied at the global level, there is very little regarding the perspectives of female and male students in Canada. Understanding the perspectives of this population is paramount as they are likely to become parents in the near future. As it stands, breastfeeding rates in Canada are below average which puts mothers and infants at risk. These Canadian authors explore students’ perceptions on breastfeeding experiences, education, knowledge, and infant feeding attitudes to inform future health promotion campaigns and school curriculums.

How does isolation related to the covid-19 pandemic affect the mental well-being of children and adolescents?
COVID-19 has caused considerable isolation which has resulted in an increase of mental illness among the young. A systematic literature review explores the impact of home quarantine on the mental wellbeing of children and adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic. This review study identifies important aspects of the mental well-being of children and their families during social isolation. Key among them is the encouraged use of a family-centred approach to address issues of concern among youth. These Sri Lankan authors suggest ensuring that the provision of support for coping mechanisms is developmentally appropriate.

How can eHealth literacy interventions better support the self-management of those with chronic pain?
Those who experience chronic pain require self-management skills that rely on both health literacy and eHealth literacy. This American study explores how those with chronic pain are using eHealth literacy interventions to support their health. Furthermore, these authors review potential predictors of eHealth literacy among individual patient attributes. Insight into factors related to enhanced uptake of eHealth literacy is a crucial first step to understanding the multi-variable relationships that could be examined in a larger study.
