La Petite Ecole

What an adventure today! 🦅❤️

During our walk at High Park, we spotted a “faucon” that appeared to need help, its beak resting against a fence. We called 311, and Animal Services safely brought it to a wildlife veterinarian, where it’s now receiving care.

What a beautiful “moment d’apprentissage” for the children. They showed so much compassion, asking thoughtful questions and feeling relieved to know the hawk was in good hands.

Sometimes the best lessons happen outside the classroom. 💚
