This Friday, September 30th is National Truth and Reconciliation day. Show your support and solidarity by wearing an orange shirt to honour and uphold the intergenerational survivors and countless victims of the Canadian Residential School System.
Education and awareness about the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.
PAIH has compiled a list of free resources that focus on Indigenous history, experiences, reconciliation and cultural competency. We hope these resources can guide pharmacy students in their approach to pharmacy care in Indigenous populations.

Check out this virtual workshop by UTM's Wellness at Home!
"Using the medicine wheel, participants complete a self-assessment to determine how balanced one is. The Medicine Wheel reminds us that we need to balance all four aspects of our being – the spiritual, emotional, physical and mental aspects. When we become out-of-balance, we can become unwell. In addition, understanding the differences between contemporary wellness and wellness through an Indigenous lens will be explored."
