We are announcing the 2025 Norton Rose Fulbright Venture Capital Case Comp!

This Case Comp was a huge hit last year and we are so excited to bring it back… this year with a twist! It is for ALL law schools in Ontario!

Each school can send a maximum of five teams. To apply for a spot as one of Osgoode's teams, visit the link in our Instagram bio! Applications are due Monday, February 3 at midnight! Selected teams will be notified on Tuesday, February 4.

Virtual Info Session (link in bio to join): February 4, 2025 from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
The case will be released on Thursday, February 13, 2025
The written submission deadline is Friday, February 28 at 5:00 PM
The open networking and reception + final rounds at NRF’s office is on Wednesday, March 12 at 1:00-7:00 PM

We are one week out!!

This is a FINAL REMINDER about the Osler x OVCLS on November 20, 2024 from 5:30-7:30pm.

Some important notes:
* Time: The Event begins at 5:30 p.m.! Please be there for 5:15 p.m.
* Location: 100 King Street West, Toronto ON M5X 1A9, Floor Suite 6300
* When you get to First Canadian Place, come in the front entrance (facing King St, look for King Taps and BMO) and then walk down the stairs (or escalators) to the downstairs elevator bay (look for the LCBO and Rexall) and head elevator bay right in the centre! Then select Osler Reception on Floor 63 of the elevator keypad. If you have any accessibility accommodations for getting to the firm, please let us know!
* The OVCLS team will be hanging out in the lobby and the bottom floor (aka concourse/ PATH) to help everyone find where they need to go.
* Dress Code: Business attire is expected! This means no jeans and usually a suit (or blouse/ dress pants/ skirt/ dress). Please see our lookbook on Instagram for inspiration!

Cooper is an OVCLS 1L Representative for Section B who is passionate about business law, AI and emerging technologies. He is looking forward to introducing Osgoode students to venture capital.

Sharleen is an OVCLS 1L Representative and is in her first year of the JD/MBA program.
