Rosemary is well known as a culinary herb. However, there is a lot of magic hidden behind in its scents. One effective application suggested by Tina Sams in her book Herbal Medicinal for Emotional Healing is to use rosemary as a scalp treatment.
Rosemary has anti-inflammatory properities and can improve nerve growth and circulation. Tina reccommends infusing rosemary in vinegar for a couple of weeks; then strain; and add twice as much water as vinegar into the mixture. Apply to scalp after shampooing, masssage it into the scalp and leave in for as long as desired. Your scalp will thank you for this!

The ancients believed smudging released the plant's spirit so it could assist us in keeping the air clear of emotions and emanations of illness. Modern science supports this theory by showing that Sage, for example, contains compounds that kill airborne bacteria
How to do it? Take either a bundle, light it, and then tamp out the actual flame so the leaves are smoldering and smoking. Move it around your body or home, letting the smoke touches everything. Allows your mind have an energy cleansing during the ritual.
When you smudge you're letting the smoke lift away whatever isn't serving your path in life. Ready to let it go and call the good health and energy?
