We're so excited to announce our Keynote Speaker for the 2026 Canada Hypnosis Conference, Karen Hand! 🤩

Karen Hand is a Board-Certified Hypnotist, Trainer, Mentor, International Best-Selling author, and World-Class Communicator.

Her 30-year career as a Chicago radio personality was the foundation for using language to exercise the imagination. Karen's transition to Hypnosis re-purposed that skill and since 2005 she has helped thousands of people take control of their lives and trained countless hypnotists and NLPers to help others change for good.

Karen sees clients and conducts training globally via Zoom.

She has received many awards including: Hypnotist of the Year, Educator of the Year and the IMDHA Pen & Quill Award for Literary Excellence.

Known as "That Hypnotist Guy", this year’s recipient brings humor, heart, and professionalism to every stage he steps onto. His performances entertain, inspire, and remind audiences of the incredible power of the mind. But what truly sets him apart is what happens offstage.

He is extremely generous with his time, knowledge, and encouragement. He’s always ready to help fellow practitioners to navigate the challenges of our profession.

This year's recipient was an integral part of the 2025 Canada Hypnosis Conference's success. From behind the scenes support, to his mentalism show and MC duties at the conference, his presence helped to create the incredible energy we all enjoyed at CHC2025.

His leadership, kindness, and spirit of collaboration embody what it means to be part of our Canadian hypnosis community.

The Visionary Leadership Award recognizes a leader whose vision, innovation and dedication have made a significant impact on the hypnosis profession.

In 2012, Jo-Anne’s vision brought hypnotists together from across the country to share ideas, sharpen their skills, and celebrate the art and science of hypnosis.

What began as an inspired idea became a cherished national gathering, one that continues to inspire growth, professionalism and connection within our community.

Through her leadership, mentorship and commitment to collaboration, Jo-Anne has connected hundreds, if not thousands, of practitioners across Canada and internationally.

The Canada Hypnosis Conference wouldn’t be here today if Jo-Anne didn’t follow her intuition and take inspired action.
