Music 🎼 & Movement!
Using stick puppets, flash cards and props!!
Importance of Music 🎼 & Movement in the process of development of Toddlers!!
Music and movement is an everyday component of our curriculum.
We sing songs with simple hand gestures and facial expressions to help the toddlers transition from one activity to the next with ease.
Responding to music comes naturally to most of the toddlers and provides a constant source of joy and happiness😊
Over the last few weeks, I have seen many of the new young toddlers focus on sounds and enjoying new and familiar songs and rhymes.
Recently they have become more engaged in singing and demonstrate their interest and excitement through simple finger play, hand gestures, and actions👶
So one morning as we were getting ready for our outdoor play, I took out these props and a few stick puppets which we had created.
I invited them to pick up any of their own choice as we sang~ 🎵 (tune head & shoulders, knees and toes)

The red poppy, symbolizing remembrance, flourished in Flanders’ battle-scarred fields during World War I, embodying hope and resilience.
