Are you above the age of 40 and experiencing menstrual cycle irregularities? The University of Toronto invites you to participate in a cutting-edge study exploring how different forms of physical activity affect health and menopause symptoms in perimenopause.
What you’ll get:
- A six week personalized training or stretching program
- Compensation for your time
- An opportunity to learn about your body and health
Who we’re looking for:
- Females 40+ with menopause symptoms and menstrual cycle irregularities
- Not currently physically active
- Can travel to the University of Toronto 2x/week
Not eligible if:
- On hormonal therapy/ birth control
- History of cardiovascular disease, diabetes (other than gestational diabetes or pre‑diabetes), liver disease, or respiratory disease

Looking for non-lean males between the ages of 18-65 to participate in a nutrition research study with the University of Toronto. We're interested to see if we can detect differences in blood sugar concentrations using a non-invasive, at-home method of sampling which involves drinking a sugary test drink and taking 'finger prick' capillary blood samples, blowing into a tube for breath sampling, and saliva sampling. Calling all pre-menopausal women! Participate in our research study conducted within the University of Toronto. We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to explore the impact of nutritional supplements on metabolism (e.g., blood sugar and insulin levels) after engaging in high-intensity interval exercise. Participation in this study will include comprehensive body composition and fitness evaluations, all your food provided for 3 days during the experimental trials, and compensation for your time.
