One of the biggest mistakes I made when I was learning French?

I had no idea what to read.

I remember buying a Danielle Steel novel in French because I loved her books in English.

I was still an A1 beginner. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I barely understood anything, and instead of motivating me, it just made me feel like my French wasn’t good enough.

Looking back, the problem wasn’t me.

I was simply reading the wrong book for my level.
