I get asked this a lot. How much does it cost to come to Canada for post-secondary education? 💸
Most Universities will give you a range of tuition fees for domestic/international students. You may not find the exact amount until you accept admission. To be on the safer side, assume it’ll be on the higher end of the range. And consider the additional funds you’ll be required to show.

Back in high school, I worked almost 7 days a week, sometimes multiple jobs to save money for University. I didn’t want to be stuck working long hours in the factories where my parents worked. With hard work and determination, anything is possible!

START. PLANNING. EARLY.
This is the most important advice I can give to those interested in studying abroad for their undergraduate and post-graduate programs. It’s never too early to start planning! Most programs have courses you’re required to complete in high school. Also, researching tuition fees, living expenses allow you to be financially prepared.

Work on a student visa in Canada?
During regular school semester/term, you are allowed to work a maximum of 20 hours per week. This work can be off campus. However, during scheduled breaks in the school year, such as winter and summer holidays, or during reading weeks in fall or spring, you can work overtime or full-time hours.
Note that you must be a full-time student both before and after the break to work extra hours and you cannot work during a break that comes before you start your very first school semester. Refer to your study permit for specific details.
