And we are now at Day 10🥳🥳
Let's talk about friendships today!
One thing our children and teenagers must know about friendships is the powerful influence it has on their character in the long run. This could be good or bad!
As parents, we must pray and also strategically help our kids find "Iron-Sharpening-Iron" friendships (Prov. 27:17). These are friends who:
✅ Encourage them to be the best version of themselves
✅ Celebrate their wins instead of competing with them.
✅ Love them enough to tell them the truth, even when it’s hard.
And the list goes on...
There are no perfect friendships but it is important to avoid toxic ones!
📌Let’s pray for our teens today that God would give them the discernment to choose the right friends and thhe courage to walk away from friendships that can derail or distract them 🙏❤️

Day 9 🥳🥳🥳
Today we are reminding our children that God's love is truly enough! An unquestionable truth!
There's a narrative in the world that your value is measured by how much validation or approval you have from certain circles and even from people but the truth is that, chasing validation is exhausting.😥
An endless cycle of still not finding inner peace and fulfillment!
This cycle never ends and there is no guarantee that those who loved you yesterday will love them tomorrow‼️
Sad but facts!
God's love on the other hand isn't something they don't have to earn. To know that they are loved is all the validation they need!
📌 Take a minute today to affirm your children and teenagers. *God's love is more enough for you*
Keep going dear parents!🙌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️

Day 8 🥳🥳🥳
Today we are talking about the protection of the minds of our kids!
Our tweens and teenagers need to be reminded very regularly that *not every song, book, content, conversation* deserves access to their minds!
That is why manning the gates of their eyes and ears is so critical!
They have the mind of Christ and this mind should be conceiving and birthing greatness on a regular!
📌 Take a minute today to pray "*I decree the minds of my children are preserved from any form of corruption. Their minds will incubate great things*"
Keep going dear parents!🙌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️

Day 7 🥳🥳🥳
Today we are talking about a Growth Mindset!
Our kids need to know that
even though growth feels uncomfortable, it *doesn’t mean impossible*… it often means they are somewhere in the beautiful middle of becoming!
Encourage them not to let up or quit!
It's a "growing” moment!
📌 Take a moment today to affirm them firmly "you have the grace to finish strong, I believe in you!"
Keep going dear parents!🙌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️

Day 6🥳🥳🥳
As our children are growing each day, let’s remind them that true joy doesn't come from having all the answers—it comes from knowing the One who does, and never losing their joy in the process of learning what the answers are!
Encourage them to keep that spark, keep that laugh, and keep that childlike heart. It’s going to be their greatest strength‼️
It takes no effort to be cynical but it takes real mental and spiritual strength to stay curious and watch things with awe!
Wonder is the fuel for creativity and problem-solving!
📌 Take a moment today and declare "my children will never lose their wonder in Jesus's name!"❤️
Keep going dear parents!🙌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow! Day 5 already!🥳
Integrity is a must have value that shoud be continually taught to our kids. They need this very important value all through life.
Taking responsibility, choosing to be honest and consistently choosing not bow to pressure to conform to negative stereotypes.
There is a security about choosing to live for the Audience of One! They wouldn't need to look over their shoulders because they are living double lives.
📌Take time to lift your kids in prayer today that they will act honorably in every situation now and especially in the future!
Well done parents!🙌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️

Day 4 is here!🥳
One thing our kids must know is that self-control is simply the ability to put a pause between a "stimulus" and a "response". That pause is where character truly lives!
Let's continue to teach them that the Holy Spirit is always willing to lead their reactions instead of letting their impulses run the show!
📌Look for a moment today and affirm your son or daughter with this!❤️
Keep going dear parents!🙌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️

Day 3 is here!🥳
Today we are focusing on Confidence!
Let your kids know that building confidence requires taking courageous steps time and time again!
And it starts with our children knowing who they are, what they have been called and who is with them!
Let them know that no one has been given permission to make them feel less than enough! They CAN do all things through Christ!
📌Look for a moment today and affirm your son or daughter with this!❤️
We are rooting for you dear parents!🙌🏻⭐️⭐️

Hey People! Day 2 already!🥳🥳🥳
Today the focus is Self awareness!
It's important that our children and teenagers know that emotions can be an indicator but does not have to be the dictator of their lives.
So before they take any action based on how they feel, they need to PAUSE and ask these questions:
⭐️ Why am I feeling this way?
⭐️ How do I process this feeling in a way that honours God?
Answering these questions will ensure they are responding and not reacting based on that emotions!
Remember the gap between a feeling and action is critical!‼️
Guard - Protect - Secure YOUR HEART!📌
Let's do this parents! Affirm them today!✅️
Rooting for you always!💕💕

We are truly excited to be sharing this 30 day 'Let’s teach our sons and daughters' series! And we are starting with IDENTITY!
Our children can only launch from an understanding of who and whose they are! Their sense of belonging and how they define themselves should be rooted in being chosen, loved, and redeemed children of God, rather than performance, popularity, or appearance.
When they know who they are in God, they stop chasing approval and desperately seeking validation!
📌Look for a moment today and affirm your son or daughter with this!❤️
We are rooting for you dear parents!🙌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️

Navigating the teen years with my children has taught me quite a number of things!😁
When it comes to sleep. There can be two scenarios. When they sleep, they usually sleep more deeply or longer.
The other thing is they could be sleep deprived due to different activities.
What if (may not be in all cases), your teenagers are struggling with, is due to sleep deprivation?
Parents, we need to support them! No matter how mature they sound or look. They need us to firmly and lovingly ensure they get adequate sleep so they can be PRODUCTIVE on a daily basis!
