AI can replace a lot of things… but a night nanny? When? 👀

Because AI can give you information.
It can’t hold your newborn at 3 AM.
It can’t notice the tiny changes in your baby’s cries.
It can’t support you through those exhausting nights.
And it definitely can’t give a new parent the human care, reassurance and support they need. 🤍

There will always be a place for human connection and hands-on newborn care.

Technology can assist us. But it can’t replace the human being caring for your baby.

AI will replace us… when? 😂

If you’re a mom who feels like you’re barely surviving, read this.

When you’re running on broken sleep, constantly caring for everyone else, and barely getting a moment to yourself, it can become difficult to even recognize yourself.

You may feel overwhelmed. Foggy. Anxious. Irritable. Disconnected.

And sometimes, the hardest part isn’t even the exhaustion - it’s feeling like the people around you don’t understand just how much you’re struggling.

As a parent coach and baby sleep trainer, I want parents to know this:

You don’t have to wait until you completely burn out before asking for support.

Better baby sleep isn’t about creating a “perfect” sleeper. It’s about helping families build healthy, realistic sleep routines that give baby AND parent the opportunity to rest.

And parenting support goes beyond sleep. Sometimes you need someone to help you make sense of the overwhelm, create a plan, and feel confident in your parenting again.

If you’re an exhausted mom struggling with baby sleep, postpartum overwhelm, bedtime battles, or feeling like you’re just surviving each day, you are not alone.

💛 You deserve support, too.

Follow for practical baby sleep tips, newborn care advice, toddler behaviour support, and realistic parenting guidance.

Parents don’t just need sleep. They need easy wins too.

When you’re caring for a newborn, making yourself a nutritious meal can feel impossible. These high-protein egg bites take just a few minutes to prep, are perfect for meal prep, and make busy mornings so much easier.

What’s one breakfast you can always count on when life gets busy?

Your newborn isn’t supposed to follow a perfect schedule, and that can be surprising for many new parents. Save this post so you can come back to it whenever you need reassurance.

🤍 Normal newborn feeding patterns
• Most newborns feed every 2 to 3 hours, or 8 to 12 times in 24 hours.
• Some days they may want to feed much more often. This is called cluster feeding and is completely normal.
• Breastfed babies usually feed more frequently than formula-fed babies.
• It’s normal for feeding times to vary throughout the day.

🤍 Cluster feeding is normal
Your baby may want to feed every 30 to 90 minutes for several hours, especially in the evening or during growth spurts. This doesn’t usually mean you have a low milk supply.

🤍 Signs your baby is getting enough milk
• Regular wet and dirty diapers.
• Baby seems satisfied after many feeds.
• Steady weight gain as monitored by your healthcare provider.
• Baby is alert during wake periods.

🤍 When to call your pediatrician
Contact your pediatrician if your baby:
• Is difficult to wake for feeds.
• Has fewer wet diapers than expected.
• Has a fever of 38°C (100.4°F) or higher if under 3 months.
• Has persistent vomiting, green vomit, or blood in their stool.
• Shows signs of dehydration such as a very dry mouth, no tears when crying (after the newborn period), or significantly fewer wet diapers.
• Has trouble breathing or appears unusually sleepy or floppy.

🤍 When to ask for help at home
You don’t have to wait until you’re overwhelmed.
Ask for help when:
• The dishes and laundry are piling up.
• Neither parent has had time to cook a proper meal.
• You’re surviving on very little sleep.
• You haven’t had a chance to shower or care for yourself.
• You’re feeling emotionally or physically exhausted.

Accepting help isn’t a sign of weakness. It’s one of the best ways to care for both yourself and your baby.

Postpartum nutrition isn't about "bouncing back." It's about rebuilding your body. 🤍

Growing, birthing, and caring for a baby takes an incredible amount of energy. The food you eat can support your recovery, help maintain your energy, and provide important nutrients for healing and breastfeeding (if you're nursing).

Here are 3 simple postpartum meal ideas that are balanced, nourishing, and realistic for busy moms:

🥚 Meal 1
• Spinach egg bites made with eggs, egg whites & fresh mozzarella for protein
• Gluten-free toast
• Apples with the skin on for fiber

🥝 Meal 2
• Spinach eggs for protein, iron, and healthy fats
• Gluten-free toast with cream cheese
• Kiwi with the skin on for extra fiber and vitamin C

🥩 Meal 3
• Beef for iron, protein, zinc & vitamin B12
• Broccoli packed with fiber, folate, vitamins C & K
• Rice for sustained energy

As a Newborn Care Specialist, I always remind new parents that caring for yourself isn't selfish—it's part of caring for your baby. When your body is nourished, you have more energy for those long nights, cluster feeds, and endless cuddles.
