The primary boys worked hard writing letters to residents at a local retirement home.

The Kindergarten children decorated cards for seniors in our community through the Sending Sunshine agency.

Thank you for all of your kind donations today in support of our Thanksgiving Food Drive! We certainly have a generous community and the children are learning all about helping out those in need. Donations will be delivered to the fire station today and from there go to the Daily Bread Food Bank, to support many families within the city.

This year SCELS is excited to host a virtual Open House on October 20th from 9:15-11:00am. The virtual open house is an excellent opportunity for perspective families to learn more about our nursery, kindergarten and primary programs. There will be a virtual tour of the school, the opportunity to meet our administrative staff and ask any questions you may have. Today is our Student Belonging Pickup day! Report cards, diplomas/awards, work books and portfolios, clothes, and finally - a special Graduation Time Capsule to take home as our gift to you! All Covid special measures are in effect, and we look forward to seeing you at your scheduled class time for a proper goodbye! 👏🏼🧑🏼‍🎓👩🏽‍🎓💕

It’s the last week of school! And we’re in full celebration mode, with our Picnic and PJ days, class parties, and of course - graduation! Today was our Family Exhibition! The most highly anticipated SCELS event of the year! Each class covered themes such as Toronto, Camping, Going Green, and many more throughout this final term and all the hard work has truly shown!
