Last night at Mount Shasta was one of those moments that reminds us why we came here.

As darkness settled over the mountain, our team gathered for another night skywatch, cameras rolling, equipment ready, and eyes fixed on the vast sky above us. But beyond the technology, it was the dedication of everyone here that stood out.

Long hours. Cold nights. Patience. Curiosity. And an unwavering commitment to documenting what we experience rather than simply assuming what it means.

This is what ENCOUNTERS CHASING THE UNKNOWN Mount Shasta 2026 is about.

We are here to explore, to observe, to document, and to ask the questions that others may be afraid to ask.

Mount Shasta has a powerful presence—and beneath these stars, the unknown feels a little closer.

🌌 OUR FIRST FULL DAY & NIGHT AT MOUNT SHASTA!

There are moments on an expedition when the adventure truly begins.

Today was one of those days.

Our first full day at Mount Shasta was spent sharing stories—talking openly about experiences from our past, the encounters and unexplained moments that brought each of us here, and what we are experiencing right now.

Different people. Different journeys. Different experiences.

But somehow, we’ve all found ourselves together in this extraordinary place.

And then came the night.

As the sun disappeared behind Mount Shasta, we gathered beneath a sky filled with stars and began another part of the journey—spending the night outside, watching, listening, waiting, and simply being present.**

No city lights.
No distractions.
Just the mountain, the stars, the darkness… and the possibility of something unexplained.

This is what Encounters Chasing the Unknown is really about.

It isn't simply about searching the sky.

It's about sharing what we've experienced, questioning what we think we know, and creating a space where people can talk openly about things that don't always have easy explanations.

Tonight, we look up.

Tomorrow, we continue the search.

🏔️ WE’VE ARRIVED AT SAND FLATS MOUNT SHASTA

After the long journey north, we’ve finally arrived. Sand Flats. Mount Shasta. California.

This is where our ENCOUNTERS: CHASING THE UNKNOWN expedition officially begins.

Surrounded by towering forest, volcanic landscapes, and the incredible presence of Mount Shasta, we’re now setting up our base for the days ahead.

From July 31–August 2, practitioners and researchers from around the world gathered at The Westin Charlotte to explore human consciousness and competitive psi abilities.

Founded by Rob Freeman in 2017, Vision Without Eyes has spent years exploring whether the ability to perceive without using the eyes can be developed through structured training, practice, and experience.

What began with curiosity and experimentation has grown into an international educational community, with participants and instructors around the world — including a special commitment to making this training accessible to blind individuals.

The results at Psi Games 2026 are a powerful milestone for everyone involved.

Six people stepped forward. Seven awards followed.
