September is here, and we’re back at Studio Connect with some fun ways to get creative!

🏺 Hand-Building Pottery Classes
Come spend some time working with clay and learn the basics of hand-building. No previous experience needed!

🐱 NEW! Paint Your Own Ceramic Cat Magnets
I’ve been making little clay cats and thought it would be fun to turn them into a mini pottery-painting activity! Choose your favourite little cats (2), paint it however you like, and leave it with us to be fired.
$25 per person, including materials and firing.

🎨 Painting Studio Memberships
Our regular painting classes will be taking a little break in September, but the studio is still available for those who need a creative space to work on their own projects.
Memberships start at just $120/month for 6 hours, with additional options available for more studio time.

Whether you want to try pottery, paint cat magnets, or simply have a comfortable space to work on your own art, we’d love to have you at the studio!

A beautiful painting created by our young artist during a one-hour painting session. We love seeing how much a young artist can accomplish with a little guidance, encouragement, and attention.

A little creativity under the shade of a tree

Today’s nature walk took us to a beautiful view of the Toronto skyline, with sailboats drifting across the water. The kids slowed down, observed the scenery, and captured what they saw through their sketches.

Learning, creating, and enjoying the outdoors—one sketch at a time.

Nature walk + sketching = an unforgettable afternoon! 🦢🎨

After lunch, our full-day campers headed out for their nature walk and sketching session. Today, we had a very special surprise waiting for us—a beautiful group of trumpeter swans! 🦢

The girls were so excited as they sat down to sketch, and before long, the swans actually started approaching us! We think they were hoping we had some treats to share… unfortunately, we didn’t.

But getting this close to these beautiful swans, cygnets and ducks, made the experience even more special. There’s something wonderful about stepping outside, observing nature up close, and turning what you see into art.

From First Strokes to a Fierce First Painting 🐅

She came to our studio with a wonderful vision of painting a tiger. With each session, she explored new techniques, learned to work with greater independence, and brought the painting to life one step at a time.

Creativity is always in full bloom at Studio Connect! 🎨✨

Our young artists have been exploring different mediums this summer — from painting and abstract backgrounds to bringing their ideas to life through clay.

We love seeing each child’s unique imagination shine through their artwork. Every piece tells a story, and every artist has their own creative journey.

This was made during our summer art program!
