Officially graduated from the Innovation Hub Investor-Ready Business Program! 🎓🤎

When I started Claudia Marie & Co., I had no idea how much I would have to learn along the way, not just about building furniture, but about building a business.

This program gave me the opportunity to learn, ask questions, refine my ideas, and most importantly, be surrounded by people who genuinely wanted to see my business grow.

One of my biggest takeaways from this experience has been seeing just how valuable community can be. Having the right people around you can make a huge difference, whether it’s advice, an introduction, a new perspective, or simply someone cheering you on.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone at the Innovation Hub and to the people who have supported, encouraged, and believed in Claudia Marie & Co. along the way.

One milestone down. So many more to go. 🪵🤎

Thank you for being part of the journey.

🍎 Just in case you need a little apple learning inspo…

One little apple can become a whole morning of hands-on learning.

For our setup, we added a few simple things alongside our worksheets:

🍎 A real apple, cutting board + plastic knife to explore the parts of an apple

🌱 A felt apple to take apart and put back together

🔤 A wooden tray with barley + wooden letters for tracing and digging

✂️ Apple cutouts for sorting and matching
Nothing too complicated — just a few things to make the learning a little more hands-on. 🤎

Save this for your next apple-themed morning! 🍎

🍎 A simple apple-themed homeschool morning basket 🤎

It’s amazing how much you can do with something as simple as an apple! One little apple can become a whole morning of hands-on learning, with opportunities to explore literacy, math, science, and fine motor skills.

Here’s how we explored it:

🍎 Apple anatomy — We cut open a real apple, explored the different parts, and sorted them as we learned what each part is called.

🌱 Apple life cycle — We explored how an apple grows from seed to tree to fruit.

🔤 Early literacy — We used our sensory tray to trace and dig for wooden letters while exploring apple-related words.

❤️💚 Sorting & matching — We sorted and matched red and green apples while exploring similarities and differences.

✂️ Fine motor practice — Cutting, sorting, matching, tracing, and putting together the felt apple gave little hands plenty to do.

The best part? It doesn’t take much. Just an apple, a few simple materials, and a little curiosity to turn it into a morning of hands-on learning. 🍎🤎

Welcome to the “I DO IT MYSELF” phase. 😂🤎

You may not put on their shoes.
You may not carry their backpack.
You may definitely not help.

It might take longer. There may be some frustration involved. But apparently, they’ve got this. 😂

And while we might be tempted to jump in and do it for them, these little moments are where they get to try, learn, and build confidence in what they can do. 🤎

What is your little one determined to do all by themselves right now? 👇

I’m an artist… just with a slightly different canvas 🤎

Some people paint. Some people sculpt.

I sketch ideas and turn them into furniture. 🔨

A few lines on paper, an idea I can’t let go of. And eventually, something real.

Something that becomes part of your home and your little ones everyday routines.

"Let me show you how." 🤎

One of the simplest ways we can encourage independence is by giving children a space that belongs to them and taking the time to show them how to use it.
Today, it's learning where the backpack goes.

Tomorrow, it becomes part of the routine.
Little steps. Everyday practice. Growing independence. 🎒
