The Métis Nation of Alberta’s Environment and Climate Change department is pleased to offer a new program: Community Bird Walks!
Embark on a beginner-friendly walk and learn how to listen for and spot birds in their environment. You will gain a deeper understanding of the birds around us and what they can teach us.
About the event: We invite you to come on a 3-hour walk and listen to our local guide share stories and discuss the ecological significance of the birds around us.
Space is limited and offered on a first come, first-serve basis. Please register only if you know can attend.
Family-friendly event: Children under 12 years old do not require registration or tickets to join.
Interested in a date that is marked full? Add your name to our waitlist!
Note for Attendees: Please dress for the weather, bring sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle or mug. Extra water will be available.
Is travel a barrier? MNA Citizens may be eligible for travel reimbursement on a case-by-case basis.

Group Family Transitions Triple P is designed to help parents making the transition through separation or divorce. Transitions Triple P, gives parents tools to prevent/manage stress, anger, child’s behaviour/emotional problems & conflict by enhancing knowledge, skills and confidence of parents to make a smooth transition.

The program is available for individual sessions as well. Sessions are held via zoom
