⭐️Important dates and information about this school year (2026-2027):

✅ Students 1st day of school is Tuesday, September 1st
✅ Our school day starts @8:45 -recommended arrival time is 8:30
✅ Assembly in the gymnasium: introductions & homeroom assignments
✅ School Year calendar (on our page and on the board website www.ncdsb.on.ca)
✅ The office will be open the week before we start school.

Required items: ⬇️
➡️ Indoor running shoes 👟👍🏼
➡️ Backpack🎒and lunch tote
➡️ Reusable water bottle *we have filling stations💧
➡️ 🎧👍🏼Headphones (highly recommended in todays classroom)
➡️ School material: teachers will specify items that would complement their learning and organizational skills such as binders, dividers, pencils crayons, markers, etc…
*provided: notebooks, pencils, lined paper, etc…

⭐️Other important information:
➡️ communication platforms: Facebook, email and telephone
➡️ Homework at the Junior/Intermediate level (studying for tests and quizzes, independent projects, reading, finishing assignments, practice tasks)

Reminder that open gym is cancelled this week due to the Grade 8 Grad setup in the gym.

Class of 2026, tomorrow is your special day to celebrate the end of your elementary school years. We wish you all the best in high school next year.💚
Attention parents, please park on Jade street or nearby. No parking on school grounds. Enter from the gym entrance and your grade 8 graduate needs to go upstairs to their classroom for their grand entrance. Thank you!

In preparation for the grade 8 Grad there will be no open gym this week.
