The time is coming for our newest students to start school for the first time! Here are some helpful hints on how to help prepare your child for their first day of school.

A reminder for our littlest riders on the school bus to have a yellow bus tag attached to their backpack. This helps identify to our drivers they are required to be met at the bus stop by a parent or guardian. If you didn't receive a tag in the mail or at First Ride, your school office will have extras.

First Ride is THIS WEEKEND! Join us on Saturday in either Chatham or Sarnia, where your new school bus riders can take a ride and learn some school bus safety too!

📚 The countdown is on!

Operation Backpack registration goes LIVE at 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 9th! A link will be posted at that time to register🎒

If you’re planning to register, be sure to watch our social media over the next few weeks! We’ll be sharing important updates, including backpack pick-up dates and times.

Pick-Up Locations:
📍 Chatham: 100 King Street (inside Downtown Chatham Centre)
📍 Tilbury: CSN Tilbury – 151 Queen St. S.
📍 Wallaceburg: CSN Holmes – 720 Gillard St.
📍 Ridgetown: Location to be announced

• A valid health card is required at pick-up.
• Applications must be completed in full. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Our annual First Time Rider event is one month away! Join us on Saturday, August 15th with your newest school bus riders, where they have the opportunity to get comfortable with the bus and learn some safety tips too. 🧒 🚌
