~ GRADE 6 FAREWELL ~ Traditional Final Walk Through the School
🙌The last day of school is always an emotional one… this traditional Grade 6 farewell walk is super special. As our staff and students gather outside their classroom, the Grade 6 students walk through the hallways of outreached hands, smiles, and ‘congratulations’.
😊The Grade 6 students walk the hallways that they’ve navigated over the years, they peak into classrooms that they spent hours in, and the absorb all of the emotions around that experience.
🥰The kindergarten children are amazed by the ‘big kids’. The primary students adore these Grade 6s and the junior students look up to them, thinking that in a year or two, this will be them!
😢 Our staff shed a tear or two when they see the kids they taught all grown up and ready to leave their St. Martin home.
🥹We wish our Grade 6s much success and happiness in Grade 7! Remember to work hard, be kind, meet new people, and get involved in school activities. We hope to see you back in your graduation gowns at the end of high school! 🎓

Mr. Dubeau was a great sport during our ‘Find Mr. Dubeau’s Picture Day!’ Hundreds of photos of Mr. Dubeau were sprinkled around the school and as students found them throughout the day, they’d bring the photos to him. As the photos came in, Mr. Dubeau got an accessory to add to his look. It was hilarious and Mr. Dubeau took it all in stride, with a smile through the whole day! He loved it almost as much as the kids did! 😊🦸🏻♂️🤡

~St. Martin’s Family Picnic~
What a great day was had at our annual Family Picnic! Thank you to our Catholic School Parent Council and our secretaries for organizing such a fun event. This year, we added to the excitement with a water balloon toss at our Principals and staff. So much fun! Next year, we’ll definitely need more balloons. ☀️💦🤿

We welcomed our September Mini Mustangs and their parents to a Garden Party in our outdoor Kindergarten playground in mid-June! Children met future classmates, played together, and caught butterflies and bubbles.
🦋🫧 What a great day! We can’t wait to see you again in September!
If you have a child starting school in September, please call the school to book a school visit. You & your child can come to visit their classroom before starting.

As summer begins, we say À bientôt! to our incredible Vice Principal, Mr. Dubeau. 💙💛
From the moment he joined our St. Martin family, he brought energy, kindness, creativity, and a smile to everything he did. Whether he was in classrooms celebrating student learning, helping at school events, solving problems, making us laugh, or enthusiastically saying “yes” to just about any new idea, he always put students first. No challenge was too big, no idea too ambitious—he was always ready to jump in, support others, and help make great things happen.
Mr. Dubeau has been a constant presence throughout our school, building meaningful relationships, supporting staff, and ensuring every student felt seen, heard, and valued. His positive spirit, sense of humour, and strong leadership have left a lasting mark on our St. Martin community.
While we’ll miss him more than words can say, and announcements won’t quite be the same without him, we know the staff and students at St. Ignatius are gaining someone truly special.
Mr. Dubeau, we wish you the best as you begin this exciting new chapter with the “big kids.” Thank you for your dedication, your friendship, and the countless ways you’ve made St. Martin a better place.
Remember… Once a Mustang, Always a Mustang!
❤️🖤🤍
