🥏❄️ It was a chilly day on the field, but that didn’t stop our students from having a fantastic time at today’s Ultimate Frisbee Tournament! Our girls’ team went undefeated, and our boys’ team went 4-1-1. A great performance from both teams👏. A huge shoutout to all our players for their teamwork and sportsmanship, and of course all the parents, coaches and volunteers for their support 🏆.

🍂 Learning, Sharing, and Giving Thanks at Crestview! 🍂
Our Grade 4 students enjoyed making Three Sisters Soup and bannock! 🥣 Through this hands-on experience, students explored the significance of corn, beans, and squash in many First Nations agricultural traditions and the important connections between the land, food, and community.

As we head into Thanksgiving weekend, we are reminded of the importance of gratitude, sharing, and honouring the Indigenous knowledge and teachings that continue to enrich our learning.

Our Grade 3 students had a wonderful time on their first visit to Kingfisher! What a great opportunity to get outdoors, explore, learn, and make connections beyond the classroom. Experiences like these help bring learning to life while building curiosity, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the world around us.

We are excited to kick off our PAWS Reading Program with our Grade 4 students! A special welcome to Enzo, our four-legged reading buddy, who will be joining us to make reading even more fun. 🐶❤️

Programs like this help build reading confidence, encourage a love of books, and create positive connections with learning. We can’t wait to see the smiles, stories, and special moments shared with Enzo!

Leadership is about making a difference in the lives of others. 💛🖤

Recently we celebrated a beautiful example of what leadership looks like at Crestview. Two of our student leaders encouraged and supported one of our youngest students as he stepped up to share a song he wrote during our morning announcements. 🎶

It’s moments like these that remind us that leadership isn’t always about having a title or being in charge. It’s about encouraging others, building confidence, including everyone, and helping others find their voice.

We are so proud of the many ways our Crestview leaders are making a difference each day and inspiring our youngest Yellowjackets to believe in themselves, try new things, and know that their voice matters.
