In the warm weather, we couldn't forget about our epic annual Wildcat Water Fight! ☀️ Our Grade 5, 6, 7, and 8 students had an amazing time taking part in what has become one of our favourite end-of-year traditions. There were lots of laughs, friendly competition, and plenty of soaked Wildcats! What a fun way to celebrate another incredible school year together! 🐾 Can't wait to see you all in September!

On Friday, our Grade 7/8 class attended the Fort William First Nation Culture Camp, learning about Moose hide tanning, tanning tools, traditional smoking techniques, exploring a variety of furs and skulls and tried some tasty bannock dogs made on the fire.

All of this was centred around Anishinaabemowin, with Ms. Chondon and Gookum Cathy giving the students an opportunity to highlight their language learning from the year in a traditional setting, while adding to their vocabulary. Chi Miigwech to all of the Elders and knowledge keepers for their gift of time with our students. 💗
