Oshki Early Childhood Education students visited Shkoday yesterday for their Outdoor Education class. Students toured Shkoday. A few of the activities they did was make a fire, made bannock to roast over the fire, and completed their assignments by sharing and incorporating what they had learned throughout the course. It was nice to see the smiles, laughter and sharing of cultural knowledge. Chii-miigwech Oshki students for joining us for the afternoon!

This month children participated in a science experiment where they observed chickens hatching. They learned about the different stages of the life cycle, from egg stage to the hatching process and finally watching the chicks hatch into chickens. The experience encouraged curiosity, observation skills, and discussions about growth and life cycle.
