Hyde Park students visited Isabella Retirement Residence for some Halloween fun! Our grade 1 and 2 students sang songs, shared a craft and enjoyed treats with some very special friends in our community! Happy Halloween everyone!

Mrs. VanVoort's grade 2/3 class at tarbutt park with Marlee and Buddy. Marlee is a therapy dog. His owner Carolyn brings him to our class to have children read with him. It is a part of the St. Johns Paws 4 stories program. This was our final visit with Marlee. Buddy is a three legged dog. The children learned he has a great life even though he only has 3 legs.

Hyde Park will be participating once again in the Heart & Stroke Jump Rope for Heart Fundraiser this month. All envelopes are due back to the school on May 10th, 2017. Our school Jump Rope for Heart event will take place at Hyde Park on May 17th!
