A big thank you to the Foundation for supporting our 3 Pitch programs with equipment, team shirts and hats!
Special thanks to Mr. Crane for securing this generous support, and to Ms. Larsen for organizing the Junior Girls 3-Pitch team and coordinating our amazing Grade 7/8 student helpers.
The leadership and encouragement provided by our Grade 7/8 students played a key role in helping the Junior Girls find success at their tournament. We are proud of the teamwork, sportsmanship, and school spirit shown by all involved!⚾💙

Mr. Crane’s Gr. 8 students visited the library for the last time. They enjoyed popsicles & a read aloud of “Oh the Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss. Also, they each got to reread the first book they borrowed from the Five Mile library back in their primary days. 📚 💚
❤️Thank you to Mrs. Lester for taking the time to do a special reading and for providing the opportunity for our graduates to reflect on their journey at FM.

Ms. Larsen and Ms. Bingham’s classes had an exciting day of outdoor learning at Hazelwood Lake! 🌿🐸
Students explored a beautiful fen wetland and learned about the unique plants and animals that call this ecosystem home. They also discovered several different frog species and investigated the fascinating life cycle of frogs, from eggs and tadpoles to fully grown adults.
