If you see a bloom that looks like this in your travels, contact the spills action centre (link in post below)of the Ministry of Environment, Conservation, and Parks to report .

Density doesn’t have to mean skyscrapers dropped in traditional neighbourhoods. Gentle density is a way to add more housing units to existing neighbourhoods without disrupting the area’s current look and feel. Small multi-unit buildings and additional dwelling units exist in traditional neighbourhoods all over the city already, and have blended in seamlessly for decades. Let’s build more of them. Changes are coming to municipal waste collection!

Recycling carts coming for residential households As of July 1, Thunder Bay residents will use wheeled recycling carts to place recycling at the curb, and blue bags will no longer be accepted.

Ontario is proud to support EcoSuperior with nearly $45,000 through the Ontario Community Environment Fund!

In partnership with the City of Thunder Bay, EcoSuperior is spearheading a project that will trap plastic litter to keep it from getting into local waterways and Lake Superior 🌊
