Our Junior 3-Pitch teams had a fantastic day at yesterday’s tournament! 🥎☀️

The students played hard, cheered each other on, showed great sportsmanship, and represented our school with pride.

Thank you to our coaches, Mme. Blier, Mme. Figueira, Mr. Leif, Mrs. Pope, Fisher and Taylor, as well as our student leaders Ruby and Adara and our Grade 8 umpires Emmett, Tim, Chloe, and Abby for helping make the day a success.

A special thank you to Mrs. Steele for organizing a wonderful tournament day!

Our Intermediate 3-Pitch teams had an amazing day at today’s tournament! ☀️⚾️

The beautiful weather was matched by the positive attitudes of our students. Throughout the day, our athletes cheered each other on, demonstrated great sportsmanship, and represented our school with pride. Whether they were on the field, in the dugout, or supporting their teammates, they showed what it means to be a Dragon.

We are incredibly proud of the effort, teamwork, and character displayed by all of our players.

A special thank you to Mr. Leif, Ms. Haven, Mme. Figueira, Mme. Blier, Taylor and Fisher for coaching our teams and helping make this day so fun! ❤️🖤💛

Our Gron Morgan tennis team competed in the tournament today and had an amazing day in the sun! ☀️🎾

Our students showed outstanding sportsmanship, positive attitudes, determination, and teamwork throughout the entire day. We are so proud of all of their hard work and effort.

To make the day even more exciting, Gron Morgan brought home 1st place for the very first time in the history of this tournament! 🏆🎉

A huge thank you to Mrs. Gascon for all of the time, effort, and energy she put into coaching this team and for her expert coaching during practices and throughout the tournament. Today wouldn’t have been possible without her.

Today, all of our Grade 7 students participated in a field trip to ActiveU at Lakehead University 🏈🏐☀️

Students took part in a variety of activities led by university leaders, including track and field games and competitions, beach volleyball, and flag football. We were able to take full advantage of the beautiful weather and enjoyed spending the entire day active outdoors. ☀️

It was a fantastic day filled with teamwork, energy, and fun!

Yesterday École Gron Morgan held our school wide track meet, in preparation for the SSSAA city wide meet in late June.

Over 350 students in grade 4-8 participated in various running and field events throughout the day. Seeing how many students went out of their comfort zone to try something new was so rewarding!

This day would not have been possible without Mrs. Gascon, our top notch organizer and Track Coach extraordinaire! Thank you for the hours you put in to planning this event every year!

To all our parent volunteers, thank you for giving up your day to help run the events. You helped our day run seamlessly and we appreciate all that you did.

Our wonderful staff who ran all the events and kept the stands under control- you are what teamwork is all about.
