*Administrator/Director Opening*

Reporting to the owners, the administrator is responsible for all day to day activities. The job being offered is to cover a 12-month maternity leave, with training beginning immediately. The job is full-time Monday to Friday with no weekends or holidays required to work.

As the main point of contact for our Private Career College, the Administrator manages all student enrolments, student files, annual audits held out by the Ministry and OSAP, adjusts and implements various policies and procedures as well as other day to day housekeeping matters.

In this role you can expect to be working on various projects that fluctuate your daily tasks from day to day. In order to be successful in this role, you need to hold strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in appropriate sequence. The ideal candidate will be somebody who embodies strong leadership skills and has the ability to multi-task in an adaptive and fast-paced environment.

We would like to welcome those who have marketing backgrounds as this is an area that you are also required to partake in addition to recruitment practices. Travel may be required in this role as you are responsible for banking matters, visiting various high schools in the district and being flexible for meetings. The candidate must have their own means of transportation.

To our clients at NuWave School:

We've have been contacted by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit that one of our students has tested positive for COVID-19. This student is self-isolating under the guidance of our Health Unit.

TBDHU has also informed us that the risk of exposure to others was "low risk with minimal exposure." Anyone that may be considered at risk will be contacted directly by the Health Unit.

At this time, NuWave is closed effective immediately for an unknown time frame. We apologize to any inconvenience this has caused. We will continue to inform the public with updates as we become more educated.

We thank you for your patience and understanding. Anybody with previously booked appointments will be cancelled and rescheduled at a later date.

With this news, NuWave will be reopening to the public as of Wednesday, February 17th. All procedures pertaining to the Red Zone will be in place and we ask that everybody respects and follows the rules.

In accordance with the Ministry of Health, NuWave's Salon is still closed due to the province wide state of emergency.
