Community Use of Schools - Lakehead Public Schools

Community Use is open! We currently have spaces available at our elementary schools Monday – Thursday starting at 6 p.m. Visit our website for more information and to book your next event!

Effective April 1, 2022 (and until June 30, 2022), Community Use of Schools will accept permit requests for weekday evening bookings at Elementary Schools.

Even though schools have re-opened for in-class learning, at this time Community Use will remain closed. Stay tuned for any updates.. Sorry for this inconvenience.

All community use permits have been cancelled until May 5, 2020 while schools are shutdown due to the response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Please stay safe.

Following direction from the Ministry of Education to close schools, all Community Use bookings will be cancelled and Day Care Sites in our schools will be closed from Saturday, March 14, 2020 until Monday, April 6, 2020.

Any Community Use permit holders that purchased OSBIE Insurance from the school board to cover their event will be refunded to the credit card they have associated with their community use account.
