We would like to extend our congratulations to Jersy Houlahan, the recipient of our 2026 Psi Chi Undergraduate Scholarship! ✨
Jersy is currently enrolled in the HBA (Psychology) program, with a minor in Criminology, at Lakehead University. She will be entering her third year of studies this upcoming fall semester. Jersy’s favourite subjects within psychology are forensic psychology, neuroscience, and cognitive psychology! 📚🧠
Jersy demonstrates a high level of involvement in the Lakehead University community. During the past academic year, she served as the Vice President and Events Coordinator of the Psychology Association of Lakehead Students (Orillia Campus), also known as PALS-OC ().
A fun fact about Jersy is that she loves all types of animals! 🐱🐶🐾

Another successful year of Psi Chi’s Menstrual Product, Diaper, and Toiletry Drive! We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all who contributed and donated, as well as to the Chancellor Paterson Library and Department of Psychology for managing donation collection. With all of your help, we were able to collect 11 boxes of products that have been sent to Wapekeka First Nation! We’d also like to thank Wasaya Airways () for their continued support of this initiative by shipping the items free of charge. We couldn’t do it without you!
