June is a time for reflection, learning, and celebration. 🧡🏳️🌈
We’ve updated our logo for the month in recognition of National Indigenous History Month and Pride Month—two powerful reminders of identity, resilience, and community.
The design features two feathers that honour both Indigenous cultures and Pride, symbolizing unity, science, and the path forward. It was created in collaboration with Patrick Hunter, a 2Spirit, Ojibwe artist and graphic designer from Red Lake.
We invite you to join us in celebrating the deep histories and ongoing contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities—and to walk alongside 2SLGBTQIA+ communities in support, respect, and joy.
Let’s continue learning, growing, and building a more inclusive future together.
Celebrate with us on June 21 (10 am to 4 pm):

Three Reasons to Sign Up Your Kid for a Science North Summer Camp 🧪✨
1. Real Tools, Real Skills
Campers get hands-on with professional equipment, from robotics kits and coding software to lab-grade microscopes. We give kids access to the same technology used by real scientists and engineers.
2. The Bluecoat Factor
Our camps are led by Bluecoats! We are scientists and educators who specialize in answering the why behind every experiment: whether it’s physics, biology, or space. We don’t just supervise; we mentor.
3. Building Curiosity
Our camp themes are designed to solve real-world problems. We’re developing skills that your children will need long after the summer ends. We aren’t just keeping kids busy; we’re building the critical thinkers and future leaders that Northern Ontario’s industries need.
