🌟 Spotlight on Mrs. Przysucha’s Sensational Sixes! 🌟

Our Grade 6s have been off to an incredible start this fall! 🍁👇

👟 Leading with Heart: In September, our Grade 6 leaders proudly led the school during the annual Terry Fox Walk!

🧡 Showing Compassion: For Orange Shirt Day, students participated in Every Child Matters activities, showing deep respect, empathy, and commitment to reconciliation.

🌲 Becoming Eco-Experts: In Science, the class dove into Biodiversity by creating “WANTED” posters for local invasive species. They wrapped up the unit with an exciting Town Hall Debate! Playing roles from mayors and scientists to business owners and activists, they tackled a real-world question: Should we expand farmland or protect our forests? 🚜🌳

It’s been an inspiring, action-packed start to the year, and we can’t wait to see what Mrs. Przysucha’s Sensational Sixes accomplish next! 🚀✨

Connections Count! 💙

When students feel connected, included, and engaged, they are more likely to enjoy positive experiences at school and show up ready to learn.

Get involved. Build connections. Create positive experiences. Show up and grow together!

❤️🖤 Holy Cross Coyotes Hit the Trails! 🖤❤️

What an amazing day for our Holy Cross Coyotes at the SSSAA Cross Country Running Race at Kamview Nordic Centre! Our runners took on a challenging 2 km race through the trails, showing incredible determination, perseverance, and school spirit from start to finish. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🌲

Their dedication during practices at recess was truly impressive. Giving up their recess time to train, challenge themselves, and prepare for race day showed the commitment and determination that helped make this event such a success.

We are so proud of every Coyote who stepped up to the challenge and represented Holy Cross with pride. Your hard work, positive attitudes, and dedication did not go unnoticed!

A huge congratulations to all of our Cross Country runners on an amazing accomplishment. You should be incredibly proud of yourselves!

Way to go, Coyotes! ❤️🖤

🌱 SHOWING UP & GROWING TOGETHER! 🌱

At Holy Cross, every day is an opportunity to learn, connect, grow and belong! 💙💛

Coming to school each day helps our students build friendships, strengthen relationships, engage in learning and become an important part of our school community.

We also recognize that there can be many complex reasons why getting to school every day can be challenging. That’s why creating a caring, welcoming and inclusive environment is something we all share responsibility for.

When our students feel connected, supported and valued, they are more likely to feel that school is a place where they belong.

Let’s make this a year of Showing Up and Growing Together! 🌱
