👏🎉Congratulations to the graduating class of 2026!

🐸🦟🍃After months of preparation, Mrs. Adam’s and Mrs .Timko’s Grade 2 classes put on an astounding performance of “Swamped” a musical focused on friendship, courage and acceptance. The gym was buzzing with talent. We are so proud of all their hard work, from memorizing lines, transforming into character, singing catchy songs and learning some pretty cool dance moves. 🍃🦟🐸

A big thank you to all who made this performance a success. A special thank you to Superior Coatings Thunder Bay for their generous paint donation to help bring a “splash” of colour to our set!

🇨🇦 Spotlight: Thomas Charles Longboat

Let’s celebrate the legendary Thomas Charles Longboat! An Onondaga distance runner from the Six Nations Reserve near Brantford, he was the dominant long-distance runner of his era and he secured victory at the 1907 Boston Marathon, notably shattering the course record by over five minutes. Known as the “bulldog of Britannia,” he also served as a brave soldier in the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War.

The Grade 3’s had a great time exploring the outdoors at Hazelwood Lake last week! We went on a hike to identify different trees and plants, then used nets to investigate the creatures living in the lake. We discovered and identified many interesting aquatic insects along the way! 🐌🐛
