What a wonderful first day of Track & Field! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Today’s Track & Field meet was about students showing up, trying their best, supporting each other, and giving a strong effort in every event. ✨

Congratulations to all the athletes for their participation and hard work throughout the day. Special mention to Skylar Kozyra (1st, 80m), Khai Pace (3rd, 80m), Michael Racco (2nd, 80m), Sebastian Minella (1st, 400m), and Julia Zwaresh (1st, Baseball Throw). We are so proud of all our student athletes who cheered, supported and encouraged their peers with !

A heartfelt thank you to our coaches, Mrs. Sorel, Mr. Kolic, and Mme Mauro, for their dedication, guidance, and support. Their commitment helps our students grow both on and off the field. Additionally, we wish to thank all of the parents/guardians who were able to come out today to cheer on our students! 📣

Our students put their creativity to work making thoughtful cards and crafts for Mr. Knowles as a way to say thank you for all he does to keep our school and community safe. From colourful drawings to heartfelt messages, each creation was made with appreciation and care.

Thank you, Mr. Knowles, for your friendly smile, dedication, and commitment to helping our students get to and from school safely every day. We are grateful to have you as part of our community! 🚸✨

~ 𝔹𝕠𝕨𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝔽𝕦𝕟 ~

🎳 Mrs. Krupa’s and Ms. Coulouris’s Kindergarten students had a wonderful day bowling! From the first roll to the last frame, the day was filled with laughter, encouragement, excitement, and plenty of smiles. It was so much fun watching everyone cheer each other on, celebrate strikes and spares, and enjoy time together outside the classroom. Days like these remind us how important it is to create opportunities for connection, teamwork, and making lasting memories.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this outing such a success. A special thank you to Jordan and Vanessa Loftus for their generosity in sponsoring the event. Staff, students and families had an amazing time and are already looking forward to their next adventure together! 💙🎳😊

🔬~ 𝕊𝕦𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕚𝕠𝕣 𝕊𝕔𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕔𝕖 ~🔬

On Friday, our school was excited to welcome Superior Science, who provided a variety of engaging STEM workshops for students across several grade levels. These hands-on learning experiences encouraged students to explore concepts in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through inquiry, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. The workshops were designed to inspire curiosity and help students make meaningful connections between classroom learning and real-world applications.

Shown here, students in Mrs. Anderson’s class participated in a Makey Makey workshop. Through this interactive STEM activity, students learned about electrical circuits, conductivity, engineering design, and computer technology while transforming everyday objects into touch-sensitive controllers. Students worked together to test ideas, solve challenges, and create innovative projects, all while developing important critical-thinking and teamwork skills. It was wonderful to see the excitement and enthusiasm throughout the workshop as students explored technology in a fun, creative, and engaging way.

~ 𝕂𝕒𝕜𝕒𝕓𝕖𝕜𝕒 𝔽𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕤 ~

The Grade 1 class had an amazing day .falls! Staff and families captured so many beautiful photos because there were countless special moments worth remembering. 📸

Students completed gratitude journals, explored their five senses, enjoyed a nature walk, toured the falls, and shared a picnic in the park with their families. 🧺
It was a wonderful day filled with learning, exploration, gratitude, and connection with nature. 🌿💙
