We asked our students: Who or what are you grateful for? Their answers were thoughtful, sweet, and sometimes wonderfully unexpected! ๐Ÿฅฐ

From family and friends to the people who support them, they shared so many heartfelt responses.

And then there were the answers that made us smileโ€ฆ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅง โ€œApple pie!โ€

We love that gratitude can be found in both the big things and the little joys of life. Our students definitely reminded us to appreciate what we have, even the things that make life a little sweeter!

Today, we celebrate the incredible teachers who give so much of themselves to our students each and every day. Their patience, passion, creativity, and unwavering belief in every child make a lasting difference, not only in the classroom, but in the lives of the students they inspire.

We are incredibly grateful to witness the dedication, care, and heart they bring to their work. They teach far more than lessons, they build confidence, spark curiosity, encourage dreams, and help shape the future.

To our amazing team of educators, thank you for showing up, believing in our students, celebrating their successes, and standing beside them through their challenges. Your impact is immeasurable, and our school community is stronger because of the amazing work you do!

Yesterday, we gave a very special thank you to three wonderful people who do so much for our school community.

โœจ Mr. Horne, our Head Custodian & Mr. Dove, our evening custodian, thank you for the care, hard work, and dedication you bring every day.

โœจ Mrs. Ceci, one of our amazing supply custodians, thank you for always stepping in and helping wherever youโ€™re needed.

Their work may often happen behind the scenes, but the difference they make is seen and felt by all of us. From the little things to the big things, they help make our school a cleaner, safer, and happier place to be. โค๏ธ

We are truly grateful for each of them and everything they do! ๐Ÿซถ

What a spectacular run winning all of our three-pitch games! More than the wins, though, our hearts are completely full seeing the beautiful teamwork and kindness these students showed to their teammates and opponents alike. True champions on and off the field!

Today, our students came together to learn, listen, reflect, and understand the importance of Truth and Reconciliation. Through meaningful activities, conversations, stories, and reflection, students explored the history and ongoing impact of residential schools and the importance of honouring Indigenous voices and experiences.

Wearing orange is a symbol, but reconciliation is about what we learn, how we listen, the relationships we build, and the actions we take every day.

We remember. We reflect. We learn. We move forward together. ๐Ÿงก

It was so special to see our school community come together for the Terry Fox Walk, walking side by side, supporting one another, and keeping Terryโ€™s incredible dream alive.

His courage, determination, and selflessness continue to inspire us all. What a meaningful reminder that when we come together as a community, we can make a difference. ๐Ÿโค๏ธ

What a beautiful day for our Terry Fox Walk! ๐Ÿ’™

It was so heartwarming to see our students enjoying the walk and sharing who they were walking for. Each story was so special and reminded us of the meaning behind this important day.

One especially sweet moment came from Jaxon in Grade 1, who shared that he was walking for Jesus. What a beautiful response.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful family members who joined us on Monday, supported our students, and generously donated. Your presence and kindness made the day even more special.
