BRITISH NEWSPAPER FEATURES
GREAT LAKES SHIPWRECKS

A popular British Newspaper, "The Daily Mail," recently featured some excellent pics of Great Lakes shipwrecks. In addition to the photos, the article provides a bit of "copy," providing background info.

The copy is definitely aimed at a UK audience who may not be as familiar with the Great Lakes as those of us who live around these large inland seas. Still, it's a great article, especially the pics...

ENVIRONMENTAL LAW AND LAKE SUPERIOR - ONLINE PRESENTATION - 12 NOON, MARCH 25th

The Covid 19 virus has affected many things but it hasn't stopped Lakehead University's Bora Laskin Faculty of Law School students. They've simply moved their presentation online. Their presentation was originally scheduled for the law school campus; Thunder Bay's former Port Arthur Collegiate and Vocational Institute.

Two law school students, Adam de Luca and Petri Bailey, will provide an online presentation this Wednesday, March 25th at 12 noon. The 1.5 hour presentation should be a great distraction - a chance to think about Lake Superior, our environment and the law, even while the primary interest of everyone around the lake, in Canada and USA, is resolution of the Corona virus situation.

Students will cover two topics:

-Lake Superior Plastic Pollution, specifically plastic pellets plaguing the lake from a train derailment
-Nuclear Storage in Northwestern Ontario.

Find out more at http://infosuperior.com/blog/2020/02/29/march-25th-presentation-environmental-law-and-lake-superior/

The event is free of charge and everyone is welcome to join in.
